Creative Kids Drum Workshop

As part of the Taranki International Festival of the Arts http://www.taft.co.nz/artsfest/festival-gem.htmlI have been working with kids in Taranaki schools - that's in New Zealand - making drums.

The workshops have three parts:
1. Making the drum
2. Decorating the drum and
3. Playing the drum

The last workshop from which these pictures come feature students from Coastal Taranaki School.

The drums will be part of a parade that will march through the main street of New Plymouth and will feature 1000 lanterns and 100 drums.

Thanks to all the schools who made this happen and especially thanks to the kids for their great work.
