My friend Andy had his 50th birthday. The invitation was duly sent. Now Andy is a creative sort of chap - musician, writer and song-writer - so one would have expected the party to be a little different from the norm. The invitation contained the words - Dress Up Theme: Cultural Icons of the Past 50 Years. This caused great consternation among some invitees - you see some people like to dress up while others would rather have body parts removed. Cupboards that had not seen the light of day for some time were searched and the local drama society's wardrobe was picked over for appropriate costumes. If you want to encourage creativity in adults go for a dress-up theme!!
